4.1 MEMBERSHIP: Membership is open to commissioned and non-commissioned personnel who have since retired from law enforcement and meet one of the following criteria:
a) Retired, in good standing, from an Idaho law enforcement agency and receiving benefits from a federal, state or local government retirement program.
b) Medically retired from a law enforcement agency and currently receiving benefits from a federal state or local government program at the time of disability.
c) Retired, in good standing, from a law enforcement agency outside the state of Idaho and currently living in Idaho, and receiving benefits from a federal, state or local government retirement program.
4.2 ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: Persons who do not meet membership criteria are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, i.e., spouse of a deceased retiree/member, or someone who has completed ten or more years of law enforcement in the state of Idaho and left in good standing.
